Vanilla Blueberry Icecream

Yea, another icecream recipe. It's summer and it's hot so icecream is perfect to cool you down. What's better is protein icecream made from Almond milk. Low calorie and no added sugar.

So how does it taste with almond milk and no sugar?? Well, make it and find out.... you'll be surprised how good it is.


Icecream Ingredients 1 tray of Almond milk ice cubes 2 scoop vanilla protein powder (I used @musclepharm) 3 tbsp sugar-free maple syrup 1/2 tsp cinnamon Pinch of nutmeg 1 tsp guar gum 1 cup of blue berries

Protein cake ingredients 1 scoop of chocolate protein 2 tbsp maple syrup sugarfree 2-3 tbsp almond milk unsweetened 1 tsp cocoa powder 1/4 tsp baking soda

Directions Mix protein cake ingredients togeather in a mug. Microwave your protein cake for 30 to 45 sec. Let it cool in the mug.

Now this is important... in a blender or food processor crush the Almond ice to a fine powder. You want it a fine as possible otherwise you'll get chunks of ice in your ice cream.

Now comes the easy part, just add all other ingredients and blend or mix together for 3-4min.

If the ice cream is too runny then add a little more guar gum. Or if its too thick add more liquid. Now put the blueberries in and stir them in.

Scoop half the icecream into a small tray then place chunks of your protein cake on the layer. Scoop the rest of your icecream to cover cake.
